Not sure I've ever had a whelk actually, but am thinking they're not 6 inched long like these snails were.
Massive buggers.

My nan had a family of Africans move in next door in becontree. Christmas Eve she was umming and aahing all day about taking a Christmas card round to them, I was trying to get her to so so but she thought they may get offended or something. 7oclock this lovely big African lady knocks at the door, gives my nan a card and asks if she would like to come next door and sing songs with them.

Majority of buyers in Dagenham now are coming in from London, as its the cheapest place to buy a house and be on the tube line.

my lite old mum still lives in Dagenham and the only trouble she notices is from the non working white trash, in fact the so called Africans are very polite and say hello each time I visit. All this its immigrants fault that pubs are shutting is bollocks it's the white trash that drink in them that keep newbies out.
I went to get a quick pint in the pub nearest my mum whilst waiting for a taxi and got so many looks of who the heck is this chap in nice clobber I soon made a swift exit. Left the Adidas tracksuit wearing wankers to themselves.

Fact is and sod what what the lib/lab say, we are being driven out. Like a bloody plaque of locust, one moves in the area and next you've got one of those halliulah churches opening up in the old snooker hall or a bludy mosque built with dodgey planning permission! I blame the transport links, new a13 and improved train links etc etc. lived in South Ockendon for 20yrs, last 5 yrs I lived there I couldn't believe how quick it changed! Some said it was something to do with the Olympic area and having to re-house or compensate, but I thought the whole area was more or less industrial estate. Anyway, they are here thanks to tony Blair and employing them in government jobs and telling their cousins how to get in etc..

What will governments look to tax next once all the pubs have shut?
Perhaps all the ethnic food shops popping up everywhere could be a target.

The price of beer in pubs compared to supermarkets and people having much better things to do, have much more bearing on pubs closing than immigrants, pubs are closing at just as quick a rate in towns where there are many less immigrants, fact is it's too expensive and no one gives a shit.

Dagenham has been dark a while now, Elm Park now too. Chelmsford is going that way as well.
Happy days.
